DONOR OPPORTUNITIESYellow Fern

General Donations – The Oregon Garden is a gift supported non-profit organization. From the start, individuals have contributed to the success of The Oregon Garden and always will. For example, over 15,000 students in Children in circlegrades K-12 have participated in The Oregon Garden Education Program classes over the past two-and-a-half year. All costs, including transportation, are underwritten by The Oregon Garden through significant contributions from businesses in the region and donations from individuals. If you would like to become one of those generous contributors and help support The Garden in all its ventures click here to download our General Donation Form or call The Oregon Garden membership office at 503-874-8266.

Additional opportunities to support The Oregon Garden include:

Birdhouses for Rent – Throughout The Garden

Birds are the jewels of the winter garden and one of our goals is to incorporate more winter interest at The Oregon Garden. Therefore, we are introducing a program which will invite birds to make our garden their home. For the fall and winter we will be building and maintaining regular and varied feeding stations. We will also be building nesting boxes and birdhouses to put up in the early spring to encorage our birds to raise families. Feeding Stations and Birdhouses may be "rented" by individuals or groups and then are "sublet" to the birds. A plaque will be installed on the birdhouse or feeding station specifying who the "Landlord" is. Payment is made to the landlords by the birds in the form of beauty, song, bug and weed seed patrol, and the occasional aero-acrobatics. If you are interested in becoming a landlord at a very "upscale" garden community, please contact The Oregon Garden at 503-874-8266 or email membership@oregongarden.org.
