North Coast Brewing Company
The North Coast Brewing Company, a real pioneer in the microbrewery movement, opened in 1988 on California's rugged Mendocino coast. The brewery has won more than 70 national and international awards over the last 12 years and was recently named “One of the 10 Best Breweries in the World” by the Beverage Testing Institute in Chicago. North Coast occupies a 17,000 sq. ft. brewing facility in Fort Bragg , California with an annual production capacity of 27,000 bbls. and also operates the adjacent Taproom and Grill, one of Northern California's favorite restaurants. Scored five (5) beers over 90 points in the “Best of 2003” judging by All About Beer Magazine.
Brother Thelonius
Brewed by North Coast Brewing Company as a tribute to Jazz legend Thelonious Monk, this Belgian-style Abbey Ale is rich and robust with an ABV of 9.3%. The package is a 750 ML bottle with a traditional cork and wire finish and features a label picturing the Jazz master himself, from a painting by local Mendocino County artist Eduardo Smissen.
Brother Thelonious is released in association with the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz (www.monkinstitute.org). For every case of this fine “Dark Strong Ale” sold, North Coast Brewing makes a contribution to the Institute in support of Jazz education.

PranQster Style Golden Ale
Belgian Ales represent the height of the brewers' art. Sophisticated brewing techniques, yeast blends and unique flavoring elements have elevated the beers of Belgium to the status enjoyed by wine in other countries. PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that produce a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.
