What happens when your group arrives at The Garden

When your motorcoach arrives please unload at the plaza area in front of the visitor center. Our group tour coordinator will make every effort to greet your group and orient them to the garden before they exit from the motorcoach. There are bathrooms available in the building on the right, and you may proceed to the visitor center to pay. The driver can park in the graveled upper parking area and join the group in the visitor center.

Payment will be accepted from the driver or tour escort, whether by cash, credit card, or check. There are no tickets issued for entry so you will not need to be concerned about distributing those to the individuals in your group. Besides the admission desk, the visitor center also contains a gift shop and our Garden Café for the convenience of your group members.

The garden provides a narrated tram ride at no extra charge; it’s included in the admission fee. The tram ride takes about 25 minutes for the entire circuit and it is scheduled to leave every 30 minutes on the hour and the half-hour. To reach the tram, guests exit the visitor center into the garden and make an immediate left to the tram path where they will find benches and a tented waiting area. Bathrooms are also located near the tram stop. Guests may ride the tram as many times as they choose and may also get off at one of the tram stops in the garden, look around and then board the next tram.

We recommend you allow at least 1.5 to 3 hours for your clients to walk about The Gardens.

We have box lunches available for groups, which are prepared in advance and can save your group the time it would take to order and wait for the food to be prepared.
