SUMMARY:Garden University: Children's Sunflower Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our first Garden University Jr. summer programing in collaboration with Roots & Bloom and Mat & Chat Yoga! \nChildren will begin the class with gentle yoga\, breathwork and sun salutations. Then they will be guided through painting a sunflower on canvas with acrylics. They will also have the opportunity to plant a sunflower seed in a clear container so they can watch both their artwork and their flower bloom over time. The class will then do a final transition back into gentle yoga & breathwork. \n  \nThe purchase of a ticket includes Garden Admission so you and your little one can wander the Oregon Garden\, looking for frogs in our A-Mazing Water Garden or listen to the busy bees in our Apiary after the workshop is done! \n  \nLocation: Children’s Garden \nTime: 10:00am-12:00pm \nAge range: 6-10 (Siblings ages 5-12 are welcome) \n**Siblings receive a discount!** \n  \nPurchase tickets HERE \n— \nHi\, I’m Desiree\, founder of Root & Bloom. \nLife gets busy. SUMMARY:Garden University: Wonder Walk Impressions
DESCRIPTION:Participants will begin with a guided Wonder Walk through the garden. Each person will receive a unique Wonder Card with a reflective theme to guide what they notice throughout the walk. Rather than searching for specific objects\, they’ll be encouraged to observe the garden through a different lens as they notice colors\, textures\, patterns\, light and the details that naturally draw their attention. \nAfter the walk\, we’ll gather to create an original acrylic painting inspired by what stood out to each participant. \nThis isn’t a traditional painting class. It’s a Creative Wellness Experience centered on observation\, curiosity\, creativity and personal expression. Every painting will be unique because every participant experiences the garden differently. \nNo artistic experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. \nTickets can be purchased HERE \n— \nHi\, I’m Desiree\, founder of Root & Bloom. \nLife gets busy.
