DESCRIPTION:Each September\, Oregon Forest Resources Institute invites home school students ages 5 to 12 to join us for a fun-filled day of outdoor learning at The Oregon Garden. Experience the beauty of the garden in late summer bloom while learning about the natural world. Get inspired through fun science and art activities! We offer hands-on\, self-paced learning stations throughout the garden on topics including: \n\n\nWetland habitats\nThe forest as habitat\nFire prevention\nFun with trees\nLiving necklaces\nThe world of insects\nPlant adaptations\nDairy fun\nStorm water\nBirds\n…and more!\n\n\n\n\n\nAdmission\n\nHomeschool materials are included free with general Garden admission\, which can be purchased at our Visitor Center.
