DESCRIPTION:Sunset Sundays at The Oregon Garden\nExperience the magic of golden hour in the Garden. \nJoin us for Sunset Sundays\, an exclusive after-hours series at The Oregon Garden featuring live music\, local flavors\, and breathtaking views. SUMMARY:Garden University: Haiku and Nature
DESCRIPTION:Natalie DaSilva\, a Certified Oregon Naturalist with a lifelong interest in haiku\, is coming to The Oregon Garden to guide you through writing a fall-inspired haiku\, using nature and your surroundings as your inspiration – there is no experience needed\, beginners are welcome! \nThe Oregon Garden in the fall is an ideal place to explore the connection between traditional Japanese Haiku poetry and the wonders of nature! Explore our Garden and the many different species of trees that are within that are transitioning into the Fall season. In this workshop\, participants will learn about the centuries-old tradition of connecting with nature through a short and simple form of poetry. Natalie will be sharing her own haiku poems and nature photos as a part of this workshop\, and will also guide participants through trying their own hand at writing haiku. \nPens & paper will be provided. \n__ \nLimited spaces available! \nClick HERE to Purchase Tickets \nMember: $25 | General: $35 \nThe purchase of a ticket includes Garden admission!
