DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Opening Day of Art in the Garden at The Oregon Garden on May 23rd\, 2026\, and celebrate the beginning of a summer-long showcase of creativity and natural beauty. \nFrom May 23rd through September 7th\, local artists will display handcrafted works throughout the garden\, offering guests the opportunity to explore and purchase unique art pieces for their homes and gardens while enjoying the stunning scenery of The Oregon Garden. \nOpening Day will feature live art demonstrations by artists featured in the exhibit\, along with talented artists from Lunaria Art Gallery. Demonstrations will take place throughout the day and throughout the garden\, creating an immersive and inspiring experience for guests of all ages. \nThere is no additional fee to enjoy Art in the Garden — the exhibit is included with regular garden admission and can be viewed anytime during open hours throughout the duration of the show.

DESCRIPTION:Natalie DaSilva\, a Certified Oregon Naturalist with a lifelong interest in haiku\, is coming to The Oregon Garden to guide you through writing a fall-inspired haiku\, using nature and your surroundings as your inspiration – there is no experience needed\, beginners are welcome! \nThe Oregon Garden in the fall is an ideal place to explore the connection between traditional Japanese Haiku poetry and the wonders of nature! Explore our Garden and the many different species of trees that are within that are transitioning into the Fall season. In this workshop\, participants will learn about the centuries-old tradition of connecting with nature through a short and simple form of poetry.
