I’m a certified RYT 200 Yoga Instructor\, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitator\, and Kids Yoga Instructor through Yoga Playgrounds. \nI believe movement\, mindfulness\, and creativity are powerful ways to help us feel more connected — to ourselves\, to one another\, and to the world around us. \nThrough Mat & Chat Yoga\, I create welcoming spaces for children\, families\, and adults to pause\, breathe\, move\, and connect. My Mat & Chat Kids classes blend mindful movement\, breathwork\, storytelling\, and games to support confidence\, curiosity\, and emotional awareness. \nMy goal is to help people of all ages discover joy\, creativity\, and a deeper sense of trust and connection within themselves. \nI’m excited to partner with Desiree and Root & Bloom at the beautiful Oregon Garden to offer this Movement + Nature-Inspired Art experience — inviting children and families to explore\, create\, and connect with the natural world through mindful movement and creativity. \n  \nHi\, I’m Desiree\, founder of Root & Bloom. \nLife gets busy. We spend so much time taking care of responsibilities\, checking off to-do lists and moving from one thing to the next that it’s easy to forget to make time for ourselves. I wanted to create a reason to slow down. \nRoot & Bloom’s Creative Wellness Workshops bring people together to paint\, create\, garden\, explore nature and enjoy hands-on experiences that spark creativity\, conversation and connection. Every workshop is a little different\, but the goal is always the same: to spend a couple of hours making something\, meeting new people and leaving a little more refreshed than when you arrived. \nBeyond workshops\, I also work one-on-one with clients through gardening\, home organization and practical wellness support ~ helping people create spaces\, routines and everyday habits that feel healthier\, more manageable and more enjoyable. \nI hope you’ll join me at an upcoming workshop. I’d love to create something with you. \n
