DESCRIPTION:We invite you to a Celebration of Life in honor of Doug Wilson\, hosted at the Oregon Garden on\nSunday\, May 18th \, 2025.  \nDoug Wilson\, who passed away unexpectedly on September 30\, 2024\, made a lasting impact on the gardening community\, and this gathering will honor his contributions and friendship. Guests are welcome to arrive at their leisure and enjoy a reflective stroll through the Conifer Garden. Light appetizers and beverages will be served in the J. Frank Schmidt Jr. Pavilion. A memorial ceremony will follow at the Pavilion\, bringing together friends\, family\, and colleagues to share memories and pay tribute to Doug’s\nlegacy. Tsipora Berman will; guide you through a multi-sensory\, transformative\, interdisciplinary yoga experience connecting Eco-Psychology\, Physics\, Neuroscience\, Biology\, Ecology\, and the Arts\, using a variety of mind/body practices. Learn how you can use curbs\, trees\, stairs\, chairs and benches for yoga. \nNo materials required.  Wear comfortable clothes and bring water\, if you’d like! \n__ \nThe purchase of a ticket includes Garden admission\, feel free to wander and enjoy the Garden after yoga\, or bring a picnic to enjoy! \n__ \nTsipora Claudia Berman\, M.Ed. ERYT\, RSMET is a 50-year master Holistic Educator\, E-RYT (15\,000+ teaching hours) and Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist (ISMEATA) as well as a science educator for pre-service and in-service teachers\, holding a B.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan\, a M.Ed. Holistic Education from Antioch New England University and certificates in Kripalu Yoga and Yoga Dance\, Reiki\, Breema\, Positional Release Therapy\, Somatic Movement Education and Somatic Movement Therapy\, and Shamanic Healing.
