Doug Wilson Celebration of Life

We invite you to a Celebration of Life in honor of Doug Wilson, hosted at the Oregon Garden on
Sunday, May 18th , 2025.

Doug Wilson, who passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2024, made a lasting impact on the gardening community, and this gathering will honor his contributions and friendship. Guests are welcome to arrive at their leisure and enjoy a reflective stroll through the Conifer Garden. Light appetizers and beverages will be served in the J. Frank Schmidt Jr. Pavilion. A memorial ceremony will follow at the Pavilion, bringing together friends, family, and colleagues to share memories and pay tribute to Doug’s
legacy. The event will conclude with a special moment in the Conifer Garden, where a memorial tree and engraving will be unveiled in his honor.

Schedule of Events
10-11:30am: Meet & Greet / Continental Breakfast, Pavilion
11:30-12:30pm: Memorial Service, Pavilion
1pm: Tree and Engraving Unveiling, Conifer Garden
