What changes have been made to the event this year?

This year’s event is an all-day celebration beginning at 9am. In honor of our 25th anniversary, we’ve added even more activities and entertainment: 

  • Tethered hot air balloon rides!
  • Music from two live bands
  • Earlier food and drink service
  • Appearance from the Unipiper
Is the tram running?

Due to the logistics of event setup and for guest safety, our tram will not be operating on July 3rd. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Is the Visitor Center open?

Yes, the Visitor Center, including Gift Shop and snack bar, will be open from 9am to 9pm on July 3rd.

What kind of entertainment is available?

Visitor Center

  • All Day: History of The Oregon Garden Exhibit in NREC
  • 10:00am to 11:00am: Guided tour of the Garden 
  • 12:00pm to 1:00pm: Guided tour of the Garden
  • 3:00pm to 4:00pm: Guided tour of the Garden
  • 3:00pm to 5:00pm: Appearance by the Unipiper

Market Garden

  • 4:00 to 7:00pm: Live music by Inner Limits
  • 7:30pm to END: Live music by Flextones

Children’s Garden

  • Gigglebritches the Clown

Bosque

  • Face painting ($$$)

Garden Green

  • 10:00 to 1:00pm:Tethered hot air balloon rides ($$$)
Is outside food and drink allowed?

No, outside food and drinks are not allowed in the Garden on Juyl 3rd, with the following exceptions:

  • Baby food, formula and small snacks intended for an infant or toddler
  • Single-serving juice boxes and puree pouches
  • Small quantities of diet-specific granola or protein bars, etc
  • Empty or factory-sealed water bottles
  •  

You will be asked to relinquish all other food and beverage items at our security bag check. We’ve arranged for a variety of amazing local food vendors whose menus offer something for everyone, including those with dietary restrictions.

What kind of food is available?
When do fireworks start?

Fireworks begin as soon as it is dark enough outside – at approximately 10pm – and last for 15 minutes.

Where is lost and found located?

Lost and found items can be turned in and picked up at either the Info Booth located in the Market Garden or at the Visitor Center.

Where is first aid located?

All event staff will have access to basic first aid supplies. Full first aid kits are located at the Info Booth in the Market Garden and at the Visitor Center. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911 and inform event staff immediately.
