Garden University: Ceramic Ornaments Workshop
Artist Heather Skinner is coming to guide you through an exploration of creating ceramic ornaments and gift tags! You will have the opportunity to explore creating a variety of styles of ornaments using botanicals from the garden for imprints, small molds for creative accents, alphabet stamps for names/words and texture tools. In the first session you will be provided a slab of clay which can make approx. 10 pieces. Your pieces will be dried and fired, and in the second session you will glaze your pieces. All tools and materials will be provided.
The Oregon Garden, a serene and picturesque setting, is the venue for our event. As you immerse yourself in the art of ceramics, let the peaceful ambiance of the gardens enhance your creativity and provide a calming effect. This venue is sure to leave you with an enriching and memorable experience.
