Garden University: Yarn Spinning
March 22, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Michele Ballantyne is coming to guide you through washing raw wool, carding your created wool locks and make roll logs for spinning. You will then learn how to spin the roll logs into yarn using a drop spindle. There will also be an opportunity to try your hand at using a spinning wheel. We will also have a few food coloring dye pots set up in case you want to dye your yarn at the workshop. At the end of the workshop, you will have your finished yarn and your drop spindle to take home with you, plus a bunt of wool!
All materials are provided, just bring yourself!
